freiheit.com technologies gmbh was founded by Claudia Dietze, Stefan Richter and Jörg Kirchhof in early 1999 as a spin-off from a DASA and DaimlerChrysler research institute.
From the very beginning, the company's main focus was on projects the development of customised strategic software solutions. One of our first customers was DaimlerChrysler AG, who had encouraged us to pool our know-how and start our own company.
In late 1999 we won travelchannel.de as our first e-commerce customer in the area of online travel.
In early 2001 our first international customer, KILROY travels International A/S Denmark noticed us because of our work for travelchannel.de.
Our first internet bookseller soon followed: in late 2002 we took on the complete new development of Libri.de's system. In 2004 the number two in the German internet bookselling trade became our customer: buch.de with its sub-brands bol.de, buch.ch, amadeus.at and about ten other shops.
Since our inception, we have continuously developed complex systems both domestically and abroad. Our customers have all remained true to us and have recommended us to others. And, unlike the rest of the industry, we have always been profitable.
That's why freiheit.com technologies is one of the most successful e-commerce pioneers in Germany today.
